The countdown is underway to Sunday's Connacht Senior Football Final between Galway and Mayo in McHale Park in Castlebar.
Galway are the defending champions and are looking for a first four in a row of provincial titles since winning four on the bounce between 1963 and 1966.
However, they face a Mayo team that reached the Division One National League Final this year and have not won the Connacht Title since 2021.
The game also has added bite as when the teams met in last year's final, Galway edged it thanks to a late Connor Gleeson free in Pearse Stadium.
Jonathan Higgins spoke to Galway Vice-Captain Cillian McDaid of Monivea-Abbey ahead of Sunday's final.
