Connacht announce pause of adult rugby in the province for one week

Connacht Rugby has released a statement this morning pausing all adult rugby for the next week.

The statement says that due to uncertainties within clubs regarding player availability following the recent Christmas break, Connacht Rugby has decided to pause the return of adult competitions for one week.

Training may continue as normal and some fixtures may proceed if agreed by both sides and they must email Club and Competition support executive Richard Doyle by 11am tomorrow to confirm they are in agreement to proceed with their scheduled game.

Fixtures will be updated on the Connacht Rugby website by lunchtime on Friday, and a further update will be issued to clubs early next week.
