Next week sees the start of the
For the second year running the Connacht Under 18s will be based at University of Limerick for an 8-day tournament, beginning with a meeting against Ulster at 3pm on Saturday 17th August. That will be followed by games against Leinster and Munster on Wednesday 21st and Sunday 25th August respectively.
The Under 19s will have one home, one away and one neutral venue for their three interpro games. First up is a trip to Thomond Park to face Munster on Friday 16th August, before Leinster visit The Sportsground the following Wednesday 21st August. Their campaign concludes with a game against Ulster on Sunday 25th August at NUIM Barnhall.
A new format is in place for the Under 18 Girls Championship, with all four provinces competing in a round robin before two semi-finals and a final and 3rd place playoff. Connacht’s round robin games will be played on three consecutive Saturdays, starting away to Leinster at NUIM Barnhall on Saturday week. A meeting with Munster at The Sportsground and Ulster at Queens University then take place on the following weekends.
