Caltra chase their first county silverware in 21 years on Saturday (2nd November 2024) when they meet St. Michael's in the Peter Curran Electrical Intermediate Football Final.
When they beat Killererin in the 2003 senior final, they continued to All-Ireland success in Croke Park. They last won the intermediate championship in 1997 when they overcame Cortoon Shamrocks 2-4 to 0-9.
The north Galway side began with an eye-catching victory over Mícheál Breatnach (2-13 to 0-12). They followed that with wins against Cortoon Shamrocks (2-10 to 0-9) and Kilkerrin/Clonberne (0-18 to 0-10).
In the quarter-final, they finished strongly against Kilconly (3-9 to 2-7) before outscoring Glenamaddy (1-10 to 2-2) in the semi-final.
Ahead of the final, Caltra manager Gabriel Naughton has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Jonathan Higgins.
We'll have a preview featuring St. Michael's selector John Ruane on Friday (1st November).
Throw-in at Tuam Stadium on Saturday is 2.30pm and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
