Busy Weekend Ahead In The Claregalway Hotel Senior And Intermediate Football Championships

The coming weekend is going to be a busy one in club football with the latest round of games in the Claregalway Hotel Senior and Intermediate Football Championships. There are two games in the Senior Championship on Friday night with defending champions Corofin taking on Annaghdown in Tuam stadium at 7.30 while at Pearse Stadium at 7.45, An Spideal face Killererin.

There are also three intermediate championship games
on Friday night with Headford taking on Carna-Cashel in Clonbur, Oranmore-Maree
face St Gabriels in Duggan Park and Dunmore McHales face Cortoon Shamrocks in
Milltown. All three intermediate games throw in at 7.30.

Saturday sees no less than eleven games down for
decision in the Senior and intermediate football championship. They start with
an early throw in for Corofin and Kilconly in the Intermediate Championship in
Tuam Stadium at 12.30 followed by Barna and Milltown in the Senior Championship
at 2.15 with Williamstown and Caltra the last of a triple header in the
Intermediate championship at 4pm.

Moycullen hosts a double header with Oughterard and
Micheal Breathnach in the Intermediate championship at 1pm followed by St
Michaels and Salthill/Knocknacarra in the Senior Championship at 2.45.

An Fhairce are host to a double header starting with
Kilkerrin/Clonberne and Clifden in the Intermediate championship at 2pm
followed by Tuam Stars and Naomh Anna Leitir Mór in the Senior Championship at
3.45pm.

There is a senior double header in Pearse Stadium starting at 4pm with Moycullen and Mountbellew/Moylough followed by Monivea/Abbey and An Cheathru Rua at 5.45pm and finally Kenny Park in Athenry hosts a senior double header with Killannin and Caherlistrane at 5.45pm followed at 7.30 by Claregalway and St James.
