The Schedule for the IABA National Senior Elite Finals on Saturday evening will see four boxers from Galway and one Roscommon bid for National championships.
Monivea’s Adam Hession will be the first of the Galway and Roscommon boxers into the ring when he takes on Sean Purcell from Saviours Crystal in the 57Kg Final.
Next up will be Keisha Attewell who boxes out of Tobair Pheadair in Gort who faces Kaci Rock from Enniskerry in the 66Kg Final.
Castlerea Boxer Lisa O’Rourke will hope to emulate sister Aoife in winning a national senior title when she faces Evelyn Igharo from Clann Naofa at 70Kg.
Aoife has already been crowned 75Kg champion after being given a walkover in her division.
Oughterard’s Kieran Molloy faces Like Maguire from Esker in the 71Kg Final and finally, Olympic Boxing Club’s Gabriel Dossen takes on Sean Donaghy in the mens 75Kg Final.
