The Galway Black Dragon Kickboxing Gym has eight fighters in action in The Unified World Championships this week and they all fly out to Marina Di Carrara in the beautiful Tuscany region in Italy on Tuesday morning for medical checks and weigh ins.
The tournament starts on Thursday morning and will run straight through to the finals on Sunday evening.
Thousands of competitors from over 120 countries over 5 continents will take part in what is the biggest Martial Arts gathering on the planet.
The Black Dragon fighters and their coaches will meet up with the rest of IKF Team Ireland in Dublin Airport on Tuesday morning and will prepare to do battle with the Worlds finest.
