Less than a week on from the disappointment of losing the All Ireland final to Dublin, most of the Galway ladies football squad will be in club action this coming weekend with both senior semi finals, as well as the Intermediate and Junior finals down for decision.
Kilkerrin Clonberne ladies are going for a 7th county title in a row this year and they face a Moycullen side who lost at the semi final stage last year after extra time in an epic battle with Corofin. Mentioning Corofin, they take on Claregalway in another intriguing senior semi final as part of a double header in Monivea on Sunday. Annaghdown is the venue for the Junior A and Intermediate finals on Saturday.
