The new National Basketball season starts this weekend, with four Galway clubs in action across three Men's and Women's divisions. The Men’s Super League will return to a straight league format for the regular season in 2024/25 – with the top 8 teams from 13 advancing to the playoffs which will decide the overall winner at the National Basketball Arena next April – giving hope to every team from the outset that a special year is possible.
Men's Superleague: Maree away to Templeogue, Saturday at 7.30 pm in Nord Anglia School, Leopardstown.
Women's Superleague: University of Galway Mystics away to Fr Matthews, Saturday at 5 pm in Model Farm Road, Cork
Men's Division One: Titans are at home to Killarney Cougars in Ballinfoyle Community Centre at 7 pm; Maigh Cuilinn are at home to Limerick Sport Eagles on Saturday at 7.30 pm in University of Galway Kingfisher.
