The annual Ballinrobe walk, jog and run event was held on a terrible wet and windy evening in May, numbers were well down on previous years but that didn’t deter some participants from setting a PB’s on the super-fast course.
Treacy’s pharmacy Main street Ballinrobe were the main sponsors of the event, their philosophy is all about health living. Elaine from Treacy’s Pharmacy said "that any event that promotes walking jogging or running as a healthy outdoor activity can only be good for the community, a healthy body is a healthy mind and helps promote a positive attitude".
The event was supported by The Ballinrobe scouts, Order of Malta, Freedom mobility, Core timing, Art O Neill’s bar and the Lakeside sports and fitness centre.
