Despite a brave second-half performance that saw them close the gap to six points, Annaghdown had to give second best to Bennekerry/Tinryland from Carlow in Saturday's AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Final.

Cliodhna Ní Shé was the star performer for the Carlow and Leinster Champions as she scored 2-4 of her side's 2-10 while the impressive Ciara Hegarty was Annaghdown's top scorer with 0-5 of her side's 1-7 total.
