Galway's representatives in the Connacht Junior Hurling Championship will be determined on Saturday (2nd November 2024) when An Spidéal battle Ballinasloe in the county Junior 1 decider.
The sides met during the Junior A championship with An Spidéal victories by 1-21 to 3-7, before going down to eventual winners Athenry in the semi-final.
An Spidéal beat Mícheál Breathnach 2-15 to 1-10 in their Junior 1 semi-final. Defending champions Ballinasloe, who defeated Salthill/Knocknacarra in last year's final, were 1-18 to 1-12 winners in their semi-final against Bearna-Na Forbacha.
Ballinasloe manager Derek Frehill has given his thoughts ahead of the game.
