Following their victories in the Junior 1 Football championship and the promotion play-off victory against Salthill/Knocknacarra, An Cheathrú Rua are out again this Saturday (16th November 2024)) when they meet Mayo's Cill Chomáin.
It's the first time the Gaeltacht club have ventured outside Galway since their county senior success in 1996. Their opponents from the northwest of Mayo are also a Gaeltacht club and have made an impression in the Comortas Peile an nGaeltachta tournament.
