In light of the Irish Government’s measures announced yesterday evening, the All-Ireland Semi-Finals and Finals of the AIG Senior Cup and Jimmy Bruen Shield will not take place at Donegal Golf Club this weekend. Galway Golf Club were due to defend their Senior Cup title on Saturday against Beaver Park from Belfast in the semi finals, while Ballinasloe Golf Club were in the semi final of the Jimmy Bruen against Berehaven from Cork.

Meanwhile Ronan Mullarney from Galway Golf Club is well placed heading into the final round of the latest Q School event on the Europro Tour in Oxford. Mullarney is 8 under par after his second round, four shots off the lead in a tie for fifth with the final round down for decision tomorrow.
