Adventurer Damian Browne has announced his latest challenge and this one will be close to home.
The Galway man and former Connacht and Leinster rugby player has become one of the World’s foremost extreme adventurers; taking on such challenges as the 257km Sahara Desert ultra marathon, climbing Mount Everest and more recently, undertaking and completing a solo and unsupported, 5000km across the Atlantic Ocean.
Just a couple of days ago, he announced that he will run a complete lap of Ireland starting and finishing in Galway. A run that is the equivalent of 71 Marathons, a distance of over 3,000Km, to raise over €1,000,000 for charity.
Damian spoke to John Mulligan about the challenge. You can listen to it HERE.
