Salthill Devon have been handed a tough away assignment in the quarter-finals of the FAI Junior Cup. After a brilliant 3-2 win away to Evergreen of Kilkenny yesterday, the Galway league champions are away to 2022 winners Villa FC from Waterford and would also be away in the semi-finals, should they progress, against either 2019 winners St Michaels from Tipperary or 2018 winners North End United of Wexford.
On the other side of the draw, Donegal's Fanad United are at home to Fairview Rangers, who beat Mervue United 1-0 on Sunday. The winners of that game are due to take on the winners of either Old County or Lucan from Dublin (who play next Sunday) or Limerick side Janesboro. The quarter-final ties are scheduled for March 9th, with the semi-finals due to be played on March 30th.
