There has been universal delight in Connacht and Irish rugby circles this morning with the news that Bundee Aki has signed an extended one-year centralised contract that will keep him in Dexcom Stadium until at least June 30th 2026. There had been much speculation since October that top French side Toulon had made an approach to Aki about signing next summer, but the 34-year-old has agreed to stay in Ireland where is set to add to the 60 international caps he has won since his debut against South Africa in 2017.
