Three of the four quarter-finals of the Bank of Ireland Connacht Junior Cup were played on Sunday, as well as the outstanding first-round game between Monivea and the University of Galway. All four matches were won by the away team, with the results were as follows:
University of Galway 12-17 Monivea
Ballina 14-27 Dunmore
Tuam 7-33 Connemara
Ballinasloe 6-50 Creggs
The draw for the semi-finals is: Connemara v Dunmore, Monivea or Ballinrobe v Creggs. The Monivea v Ballinrobe game is on next Sunday, with the two semi-finals on Feb 9th.
