A group of five people from Coventry in England have just completed a 135mile walk from Dublin to Galway, in memory of a brother, uncle and a great fundraiser for charities in the area.
The walk was unusual and very testing on a lot of levels, none more so than they followed the Grand Canal from Dublin to the Shannon Harbour, then took the Hymany Way, branching off for Athenry and on to Galway City.
The walk took six and a half days to complete.
The group arrived in Galway on Friday and Kerri Ann, Martin and Matthew from the group joined John Mulligan on Sunday Sport to talk about their journey that also raised money for three special causes.
