Galway United came from behind twice to force a draw with Sligo Rovers in their final home game of this year's SSE Airtricity League Premier Division on Friday (25th October 2024).
Jimmy Keohane and Stephen Walsh replied to strikes from Luke Pearce and Simon Power respectively to give John Caulfield's side a point and keep them in fifth place with one game remaining.
The result means there'll be no European football for the Tribesmen in 2025 but if they can hold their current position, it will be their best top-flight league display since 1994.
After the game, Galway United assistant manager Ollie Horgan shared his thoughts with Galway Bay FM's Mike Rafferty.
Galway Bay FM's match commentary team were Mike Rafferty and Derek Rogers.
Galway United's final game of the season is away to Bohemians on Friday, 1st November. Kick-off at Dalymount Park is 7.45pm.
