Former Galway 3-in-a-row All-Ireland footballer winner Cyril Dunne passed away on Thursday (5th December 2024) at the age of 83.
The team's most prolific scorer during the greatest spell in the county's history, the Ballinasloe club player was the free taker from wing forward and scored a combined 0-16 in the three All-Ireland successes in 1964, 1965 and 1966.
Joining Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly on this week's 'Over The Line' (Friday, 6th December) were 1956 All-Ireland winner Sean Keeley and former footballer and Ballinasloe GAA historian Willie Tully to remember Cyril Dunne.
