Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault on a young man that occurred at Fahy Gardens in Loughrea
The victim was taken to University Hospital Galway with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after the incident last Wednesday
Just after 9 o'clock last Wednesday night, Gardaí received a report that a man in his 30s had been assaulted at Fahy Gardens.
Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and who were travelling in the Fahy Gardens/ Galway Road/ Westbridge areas between 8:30 and 9:30 on Wednesday night are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.

The victim was treated at UHG for his injuries, which are serious but not life-threatening.
