Two people have been arrested after Gardaí seized cannabis, cash and jewellery at four homes in Loughrea yesterday.
Gardaí arrested two individuals - a man in his 40s and a male juvenile - as part of an ongoing investigation into criminal activity in Galway.
Approximately €1,000 of suspected cannabis herb was seized, along with €3,350 in cash.
10 mobile phones; 2 Rolex watches; a diamond ring; a diamond necklace and 6 gold bracelets were also seized.

The man was released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
Meanwhile t,he young person has been referred to the Garda National Youth Diversion Programme.
