Councillors in Loughrea Gort/Kinvara MD have approved a €12 million budget for the area.
They voted unanimously in favour of adopting the increased budget for the next year at yesterday's meeting.
Following that, councillors raised some concerns however in relation to hedge-cutting and graveyard maintenance funding.
But, Loughrea area Cathoaoirleach, councillor Martina Kinane, says the reaction to the budget figure was mainly positive
