MEP candidate says Irish fishing communities "under attack" and action needed in EU parliament

Irish Fishermen and our general coastal communities have been under attack for a very long time.

That's according to MEP candidate for this region, James Reynolds of the Irish National Party.

He claims the "free surrender" of Ireland's fisheries at the time of EEC accession in 1973 set the trend for our politicians attitudes towards fishing communities.

James Reynolds says our quota is a disaster and the first and most important objective of any Irish MEP in the EU parliament is to increase it.
