Bins overflowing on Shop Street are giving a poor image of Galway, and are a risk
That's according to Independent Ireland candidate for Galway City Centre Shauna Finnegan
She's calling on the city council to be more vigilant and to empty the bins more regularly as we head into the busy tourist season
Shauna Finnegan says on Saturday for example, the city centre was very busy with tourists.
She adds that a great deal of money was invested in the solar bins that are supposed to notify the council, but if they are full it was money wasted
