Galway Talks: Ukraine’s Fight For Survival

Share story:

After 420 days of resistance, a free Ukraine still manages to exist although having paid an extraordinary price in suffering.

How can we make sense of the invasion and what it means for Ukraine, Europe, and Ireland? Or indeed our wider world?

What lessons can or should be drawn, and what is the path to the war ending?

Those are the issues which were discussed at the University of Galway this morning at a Roundtable Discussion Ukraine’s Fight For Survival.

Gerasko Larysa Ukrainian Ambassador to Ireland, Marijus Gudynas Lithuanian Ambassador to Ireland and Anna Sochanska, Polish Ambassador joined Sally-Ann on Galway Talks this morning.
