They are a well-established London-Irish groundworks company seeking Setting Out Engineers, Estimators, and Quantity Surveyors to join their growing team. Based in South-East England, they work on a variety of exciting groundworks and civil engineering projects.
They welcome applications from both graduates and experienced professionals. Candidates must be based in the UK or willing to relocate from Ireland. A valid UK driving licence is essential.
Roles Available:
🔹 Setting Out Engineers
- Interpret technical drawings and site plans to ensure accurate groundwork execution.
- Use surveying equipment to mark out construction sites.
- Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain precision in groundworks.
- Ensure all work meets industry regulations and health & safety standards.
🔹 Estimators
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for groundworks projects.
- Analyse project specifications and collaborate with suppliers to source materials.
- Work closely with the commercial team to provide competitive pricing strategies.
- Assist in tendering processes and contract negotiations.
🔹 Quantity Surveyors
- Manage project costs from start to finish, ensuring budget control.
- Conduct valuations, cost reporting, and risk assessments.
- Work alongside project managers and engineers to maximise efficiency.
- Handle subcontractor payments, variations, and final accounts.
