What began as an impromptu collection in Galway for the people of Ukraine has snowballed into a massive outpouring of support and now organisers have some special news to share. Having started in the car park of a Polish shop on the Dublin Road, due to the response, Galway Racecourse had to be utilised to cater for the volume of material being donated over recent days. But what is the next step and what will the impact of this major aid effort be?
