Jack Lee and his brother Sam first discovered the value of harmony at a very young age, singing Paul Simon songs and Colgate jingles on a back yard swing. From then they were hooked and dove deeper into Simon & Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers and any good example of harmony they could get their hands on. This set the foundation for all of Jack’s original writing, giving his music a very obvious focus on melody and emotion. Between the duo’s work and his own work, he has been honing his craft for years and his live performances say it all.
The last few years have seen Jack perform on multiple stages across Electric Picnic as well as alongside many established Irish and international acts, from David Keenan, Thanks Brother, Jerry Fish and Aslan to Say Sue Me, and Shawn James. His first single ‘Anyhow’ was released in early 2019, followed by ‘Coasts’ later that year. He is currently working on a double single, expected for release in October 2021.
“Lee writes songs that stay in your head for days after you hear them. The folk/pop singer songwriter blends intricate acoustic guitar with powerful, infectious vocal hooks” - Cian O’Connell - Connacht Tribune
