Tánaiste Micheál Martin is to officially open the new Outpatients building and the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Merlin Park Hospital tomorrow (fri nov 1)
The €4m Cystic Fibrosis Unit will provide a dedicated area to deliver safe, patient focused care with integral consultative, diagnostic and therapeutic resources.
While the €15.5m Outpatients Department will facilitate many of the outpatient clinics presently being held UHG, and help relieve pressure there.
Many years of campaigning have gone into both facilities, and the official opening takes place tomorrow morning at 10.
