The HSE is still unable to say when a planning application will be lodged for a long awaited new emergency department at UHG.
At a meeting of the Health Forum West, Councillor John Connolly was exasperated over the seemingly never-ending delays.
They're partly due to revisions to the project, as well as the need for it to fit into an overall masterplan for the site.
Fianna Fail Councillor Connolly says it's important that it's done right - but there has to be more urgency.
