Army bomb disposal investigating "suspect device" discovered in Ballybane

A bomb disposal unit from the Defence Forces is examining a "suspect device" in Ballybane.

Gardaí were alerted to the device at a residential property at around 11am this morning.

The area's been evacuated while investigations are underway on the device.
