Galway Bay fm newsroom - A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Galway, Mayo and Clare today.
Heavy rain this morning and afternoon will lead to excess surface water, with accumulations of between 20 to 40 millimetres expected in some areas.
The rainfall warning remains in place until 4pm.
