Work on new playground in Clarinbridge to get underway shortly

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Works on a long-sought new community playground in Clarinbridge are set to get underway shortly.

It's after €75 thousand towards the project was secured under the LEADER rural development programme this week.

Councillor Martina Kinane says the latest allocation brings the total funding raised to date to over €112 thousand.

She expects works to get underway in the coming weeks.

Fianna Fail Councillor Kinane says it's thanks to years of effort from the entire local community.
