Galway Bay fm newsroom - Emergency services rescued a woman in the city last evening after she entered the water at Wolfe Tone Bridge.
The incident happened shortly before 7 o' clock and a nearby fire crew came to the woman's aid almost immediately.
She was taken from the water at the Claddagh and an ambulance took her to UHG for treatment.
