Woman hospitalised following multi-vehicle collision outside Craughwell

Galway Bay fm newsroom - One woman has been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle collision between Craughwell and Oranmore.

The three car crash took place at around 8.30am at Furey's Cross leading to significant delays.

One woman was taken to University Hospital Galway for treatment of non-serious injuries following the incident.

The road is partially closed to traffic and is likely to reopen in the next hour.

Motorists are advised to expect delays.
