Galway Bay fm newsroom - The county council has refused planning permission for increased tonnage at a materials recovery facility in Oranmore.
Walsh Waste Limited has been refused permission to increase its tonnage from 22 thousands tonnes per year to 50 thousand tonnes.
Planners state that it would not be acceptable at the Deerpark location and would comprise the future development of the industrial zoned lands.
