Galway Bay fm newsroom - The venue for this afternoon's city council meeting has been changed with the decision talen due to current guidance on the Covid 19 virus.
The monthly plenary meeting was due to take place at 3pm in its usual location at City Hall.
However following a risk assessment of the Council Chamber in relation to the current guidance regarding Covid 19, the local authority will now hold the meeting in the veranda lounge at The Galmont Hotel.
The meeting of 18 city councillors features a 12 item agenda.
