University of Galway has won a Times Higher Education award for technological innovation for Cara, its virtual assistant for students
Cara has been developed by the University in partnership with Galvia, a pioneering AI company based in Galway.
The virtual assistant addresses online queries from students
At the same time it gathers essential data to identify and support at-risk individuals in the student community.
