University of Galway student runs project to assist dairy farmers

GBFM News - A University of Galway PhD student is running a project to assist with dairy farm management.

Rumia Basu, who is a VistaMilk PhD student, uses measurements from space to help Irish farmers manage their farms.

The project uses imagery from the Europe Space Agency's Sentinel satellites to map soil moisture in Ireland.
