University of Galway research a milestone for patient-treatment response

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Research by University of Galway scientists is being described as a milestone for patient-response to treatment.

Researchers at the university have created digital microbes - which can enable computer simulations learn how patients respond to drug treatments.

The database is a step forward for patient treatment of diseases such as Parkinson's, colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel.
