University of Galway named national Sustainable Development Goals Champion

Galway Bay fm newsroom – University of Galway has been named a national Sustainable Development Goals Champion.

The designation for 2023-2024 recognises the leading role the university is playing in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

University of Galway is the first university to hold the honour, joining 21 other new champions across a wide range of sectors.

They include the GAA, RTE, An Post, Tesco and the FAI.
