University of Galway graduate Peter White is to be appointed a District Court Judge
He's one of three solicitors appointed to fill vacancies in the service
Judge White obtained his BA in 1995 and LLB in 1997 from University of Galway.
He obtained an LLM in Public International Law in 1999 from the London School of Economics.
He qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 and practiced primarily in public and extradition law.
Peter White has served the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Justice and has represented the State at inter-governmental meetings in the Council of Europe
