A University of Galway lecturer has been appointed to a United Nations climate change advisory role.
Dr Una Murray will support the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in assessing the impacts of climate change.
Dr Murray is Director of the MA in International Development Practice in the University’s College of Arts, and a Principal Investigator with the University’s Ryan Institute.
She will will provide advice to the leading international body on the topics of climate change impacts, adaptation and vulnerability.
