University of Galway appoints new Traveller Education Officer

Galway Bay fm newsroom - University of Galway has appointed its new Traveller Education Officer.

Anne Marie Stokes is taking the reigns, as the second ever ful-time officer, and succeeds Owen Ward in the role.

The role involves supporting students from the Irish Traveller community in terms of education and recruitment.
