University Hospital Galway has the nations largest backlog of surgeries

Galway Bay fm newsroom - University Hospital Galway has the largest number of patients in the country waiting for surgery.

11,513 patients at UHG are currently in need of surgery according a report in the Irish Independent.

More than 675,000 people around the country are on some form of hospital waiting list, including 86,000 requiring surgery.
