Galway Bay fm newsroom - University of Galway is launching 'Code Plus', to highlight the opportunities available for women in STEM.
The partnership between the university and Fidelity Investments aims to reduce the gender gap in ICT graduates.
It will use a range of workshops, company visits and career talks to encourage females to study technology and computer science at third level.
It's expected 2,500 female students will be impacted by the programme over the next 2 years.
