Unemployment in Galway down by 15 per cent over past year

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There was a mixed pattern in terms of unemployment figures in the city and county last month.

While overall, unemployment in Galway was down slightly in January, some areas experienced a rise in jobless figures.

There are currently just over ten thousand 600 people out of work in Galway.
