UHG third most overcrowded hospital today

Galway Bay fm newsroom - UHG is the third most overcrowded hospital nationwide today.

There are 44 patients waiting on trolleys or along wards at the facility according to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

UHG and Cork University Hospital are below University Hospital Limerick where 58 people are awaiting beds.

Nationally, 574 patients are awaiting admission across the country.
